Alejandro Menéndez is a Law student at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Secretary General of AUMUN 2019. He first got in contact with MUN at high school and, since then, he has been passionate about the discipline. He has participated both as Chair and as delegate in 13 conferences –receiving 6 awards– and already once within the organizing team, in the Secretariat of AUMUN 2017. Apart from MUN, he has also participated in the European Law Moot court while he was an Erasmus+ exchange student at the KU Leuven, with his team winning the competition. He is deeply interested in international politics, human rights and European law, and is willing to put his heart and soul into making this edition of AUMUN the best to date.

Isabel Fernández is the president of the MUN association in the UAM (UAMIMUN) and vice secretary general in AUMUN 2019.
She studies law and businesses administration in the Autonomous University of Madrid and next year she will be in 5th grade. This year she has been in Erasmus in KU Leuven (Belgium).
Isabel has been a delegate in multiple Models of United Nations in the last years such as COMPIMUN, URJCMUN, UC3MUN and LIMUN and she has been USG finances in AUMUN 2017.
She has been awarded with numerous awards being the most remarkable "best diplomacy" in LIMUN.
among her hobbies we can count reading, learning languages, travelling, cooking and having a nice cold Belgian beer with her friends.
Isabel will try her best to make this MUN unforgettable!
Laura Centeno Casado is a first-year student of the Double Degree in Law and Political Science and Public Administration at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Her experience in MUN began when she entered to university, through UAMIMUN. Since then, she has participated in both national and international models.
Her first experience was in AUMUN , where she got an honorable mention. Then, she participated in MUIMUN (Münster), where she represented Brazil in ECLAC, winning the prize for best delegate.
Finally, she participated in AUCMUN (Amsterdam), representing Sweden in UNSC.
As responsible for the applications and learning from all the models in
wich she has participated, she is very excited and eager to help as much
as possible to the delegates who sign up for the conference.
Celia Hernando del Valle is a first-year student of the bilingual International Studies degree at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Her interest on MUN started at the beggining of the school year 2018- 19, when the UAMIMUN team presented the association in her degree presentation on September.
Since then, she has taken part in two conferences: AUMUN 2018, representing the USA delegation; and COMPIMUN 2018, where she represented Nigeria in the UNEP comittee.
She likes to define MUN as a place where you can meet amazing people, learn and build an opinion of the current world situation, at the same time as you gain new skills useful for your professional career.
For the next course, she wanted to live the MUN experience from another perspective, so that she joined the team as USG Communications, and she is willing to use her creative skills for reaching as many future delegates as possible, and make the conference grow bigger.
Sergio Hernangómez García is a student of Dual BA in Law and Political Science at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Under-Secretary- General for Finances of the AUMUN 2019 conference. Sergio began his Model of United Nations experience when he joined the MUN Society of his University, UAM-I- MUN. He has attended different Models, both internal and external, representing countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Turkey and Russia, and political actors, such as Guy Verhofstadt (president of the ALDE group at the European Parliament), in different MUN conferences, like the European Parliament (COMPIMUN 2017) and UNEP (LIMUN 2018). As an absolutely interested student in Economic and Financial Law, Sergio is willing to apply his knowledge on bookkeeping and treasury to successfully accomplish his role in the AUMUN 2019 Secretariat, to make the conference a great success again.
Juan Arconada Gil
Juan Arconada Gil is a first year Law student at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He had his first MUN experience in 2016, when he discovered his passion for International Relations and affairs, participating in several MUNs the following years. For this reason, he joined UAM's MUN association just as he started his degree studies. Since then, he has taken part in various conferences in Madrid, both as a delegate (AUMUN 2018) and as a member of secretariat (OEA’s Model 2019 and 2020). This time, as USG for Logistics of AUMUN 2019, he is eager to contribute in making the conference a great success.
Paula Muñoz Cano
Paula Muñoz Cano is a first-year student of International Relations, at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She began to make contact with the world of MUN very recently, when she participated as a delegate in AUMUN 2018.
From that moment on, her interest in international affairs and human rights has increased, which also motivated her to continue taking part on more models.
However, this time she wanted it to live the experience from a different
perspective, becoming part of the organization as Social Events USG.
As a great enthusiast of parties and social events in general , she is eager to contribute in making AUMUN 2019 the best experience for the
Pedro Zaballos León is a second-year- law student at the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid (UAM), and he has the pleasure of being the Crisis Director at AUMUN 2018. Pedro first knew abot the world of MUN through UAMIMUN during season 2016-2017, without having previous knowledge of such activity, but always having being really into international politics and different global affairs of every nation´s interest. Intense and fierce as a delegate, he has represented many countries and discussed about diverse topics: Austria, DISEC (UNMUN 2017), France, ECOSOC (UC3MUN 2017), Syria, Security Council (SIMAD 2017), Russia, Security Council (UC3MUN, where he won the Best Delegation award), apart from having represented other nations in training committees such as DPRK, Pakistan etc. Further more, he was part of the AUMUN 2017 Secretariat as Crisis Co-director. The creativity and dedication used to build the Crisis, put together, are his main virtue and flagship.
Javier DIEZ-HOCHLEITNER, es Catedrático de Derecho Internacional Público y de la Unión Europea de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, así como, Co-Director de la Revista Española de Derecho Europeo y, Abogado Of Counsel de Baker McKenzie (Madrid) en el Área de práctica: Arbitraje y Derecho de la UE. Es autor de numerosas publicaciones sobre Derecho Internacional, Derecho de la UE y Arbitraje internacional. De igual modo, ha sido Jefe Adjunto de la Asesoría Jurídica Internacional del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Subdirector General para Asuntos Jurídicos de la Secretaría de Estado para la UE y Vicepresidente de la Independent Media Commission para Bosnia y Herzegovina. Fue Decano de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid entre 2006 y 2010.
